Update

Wow...I obviously got overwhelmed in November and never found my way back. Too bad, I missed a lot of great hockey moments and some disappointing ones. I must say, I think I only missed watching 3 of the Sharks games this year, though many were TIVO'd and watched when I got home.

I made it to about 10 games in SJ, all but 1 in Anaheim, 1 in LA, and 1 in Dallas (last game of the regular season: helped the Dallas NHL staff figure out who was on the ice for the Sharks during warm-ups...that was fun).

I admit I didn't spend a ton of money to make it to the first home game 7 in Sharks history, but I watched it from afar. I was prepared to make it to game 7 in the 2nd round, but alas, that was not to be.

I did watch the IIHF games and followed the Sharks players who made the trip; I was happy to see Nabby help bring home the gold for Russia. (The US was done by then, so what the heck; I do admit, cheering for the Russian team seemed a bit odd for someone raised during the Cold War).

I look forward to seeing what develops with the Sharks over the next few months including the introduction of a new coach and the signing of new and old players.
