Let's get going!

So, I've watched hockey played in England. Watched a Center Ice Online feed in French. Attended several preseason Ducks games. Read everything I could find about the Sharks and hockey in general. Therefore - it must be time to start the season!

Since the Sharks have been jinxed numerous times already (Thanks Melrose, Cherry, etc.) about winning the cup, let's see what they can bring. Of course this is all just a warm up for the playoffs, cause it doesn't really matter until then (unless of course your team fails to score enough points and starts golfing way earlier than expected).

What I expect to see on the ice: Speed, speed, and more speed.
What I hope to see on the ice: Grit, tenacity, snarl.
What I don't want to see on the ice: Lacksadaisical play, half-assed play, timid play.

So, let's see what team the Sharks bring. No pressure there boys. No pressure on the coach or the captain, or the other players. Nope. None at all. (Ok, maybe I'm lying).
